From the award-winning game designer Reiner Knizia comes a game of strategy, patience, and cool plastic camels! The desert is still treacherous, mysterious, and without mercy. But for those willing to risk the dangers of the shifting, sun-baked sands, the desert holds riches beyond compare.
In Through the Desert, two to five players each control a tribe of nomads vying for control of the desert. By establishing caravans and taking over oases, the players gain points as their tribes increase in power.

Se lo compré a Sacarino, de la bsk, por 21 Euros en Feb2010. Llegó en perfecto estado. Aun no lo he probado. Ya lo probé. Excelente compra. Juego similiar al Terra nova con mejoras. Se trata de emplazar camellos en un desierto creando caravanas de colores y puntuando. Se pueden puntuar de varias maneras. Es un abstracto disfrazado. Me ha gustado mucho. Recomendable y facil de sacar a mesa, porque es bastante vistoso.
OK, con caja larga
Juego muy sencillo y corto, pero entretenido. Otro de Knizia. Añades camellos creando rutas de caravanas, en el tablero exagonado, y recoges puntos por los pozos, los oasis que bordeas, y si encierras rodeando, una parte del tablero, recoges todos los puntos de dentro de la zona. Está graciosete pero como filler y poco más.
Es entretenido. Quizás un poco frÃo para mi gusto. Los diferentes colores se distinguen un tanto mal.

A través del desierto, alias: Ojo, que los camellos no son gominolas. Es un juego algo sobrevalorado, pero es que está muy bien diseñado y fluye tan rápido, y es que uno va a por los puntos como loco antes de que se los quiten. El juego es muy familiar y asequible, las decisiones son muy ligeras, pero se genera mucha tensión en este abstracto disfrazado lleno de camellos color pastel.
[b]Primera partida[/b] (6/10) Control de areas. Interesante. [b]Quinta partida[/b] (6/10) Los Knizia siempre son buenos juegos. Simples de reglamento y profundos en las decisiones, con un tema irrelevante. Cumple.
