About the game

What is Arctic Anarchy

Arctic Anarchy is a turn-based strategy card game in which players take on the role of Polar Explorers competing to rescue Arctic animals from a melting iceberg.

In a 2-player game, players can add animals from the iceberg to their rescue raft, discard an animal or bank a collection of animals to score victory points at the end of the game. In a 3-4 player game, players get the additional option of swapping one animal on their raft with one from another player’s raft.

The game is won by the player who gains the most victory points at the end of the game.

But be warned! banking a collection of animals triggers an event at sea which affects all players. Events include forcing players to discard animals from their raft, swapping hands and reshuffling the deck. With the game being played open hand for all to see, there is plenty of opportunity to scupper your opponent’s raft.
