What is The Battle of the Nile
The Battle of the Nile - 1st and 2nd August, 1798
There are four different Scenarios that can be played, namely the Historical Scenario ( which simulates what actually happened in the Battle of the Nile ) and three other Scenarios called Scenario A, Scenario B and Scenario C.
The Board is a grid of flat up hexagonal zones, measuring 52 rows by 44 columns. The Board represents an area of approximately 2.5 miles by 1.9 miles at the North West part of Aboukir Bay.
Each counter represents one ship-of-the-line. There are 14 British ships and 13 French ships, each identified by their national flags and their names. Each ship counter spans two hexes.
