This game is a remake of the 1984 classic that was part of Milton Bradley's Gamemaster Series. In this game you are one of many Roman generals vying for power in Imperial Rome, employing legions, cavalry, and catapults to reach your objectives.
This version of the game has two sets of rules, one set similar to the original version (except that it has fixed the broken catapult rules) and a new set of rules based on Martin Wallace's Struggle of Empires.

propiedad aula d'estudis. Jugado a la versión clásica. El juego es un risk mejorado, aunque no deja de ser un risk.
Un juego largo muy interesante, de conquistas. Creo que incluso me gusta un poco más que el Struggle of Empires. En su versión avanzada, por supuesto.
2 versiones I: Es como un "risk". II: tipo "Struggle of Empires" mas corto. Mega-tableraco del mediterráneo. Juego de estrategia en el Imperio romano de adquisición de influencias para ser el próximo sucesor del Cesar. Gestión de provincias, pequeño politiqueo, y lucha militar. Tienes en cada turno 2 acciones, a elegir entre un total de 8 disponibles, con lo cual tienes que saber elegirlas muy bien. Las miniaturas de plástico grandes, esta chulas, aunque el juego por ello parece muy militar y complicado, pero luego es más sencillo de lo que aparenta, incluso decepciona a jugones. Mejor para 4
Adquirido en el V encuentro Nacional de juegos de mesa, en Amorebieta (Nov 2009). De forma gratuita por un gasto de 100€ conjunto entre Marc, Pedro y yo. Fue el gran descubrimiento de las jornadas. Es de Eaglegames, los mismos que publicaron el Napoleon in Europe. Este es de fecha posterior y se nota que las reglas estan muy elaboradas. El juego es muy elegante y tiene unas cuantas mecánicas muy atractivas. Similar al grande en cuanto al tema de dominar territorios, pero con el saborcillo de un wargame. Incluye además cartas y votaciones. Lo dicho: Es un juego que me encanta. Admite hasta 6
