Clash of Cultures
From Christian Marcussen, the creator of Merchants and Marauders, comes Clash of Cultures, a civilization game in which each player leads a civilization from a single settlement to a mighty empire. Players must explore their surroundings, build large cities, research advances and conquer those who stand in the way. The game features a modular board for players to explore, 48 distinct advances, seven mighty wonders, and loads of miniatures and cards. The winner will create a culture that will be remembered and admired for millennia.

The game features about 48 distinct advances. The whole "tech-tree" is very flexible with no dead ends, yet still intuitive, sensible and "realistic." Additionally you have a great overview of what advances other cultures have - no need to ask - just look.

Juego de civilizaciones similar al civilization, en el que vas desarrollando tecnologías y puedes meterte con los demás y crear maravillas, etc. Como novedad, existe la posibilidad de influenciar culturalmente a ciudades próximas. Es algo que le falta al Civ. Por lo demás, son bastante parecidos... y si me gustó aquél, éste no va a ser menos. :)

GENIAL JUEGOS DE DESARROLLO Y CONQUISTA
Part of Monumental Edition.
Juego de civilizaciones muy bien pensado, y menos engorroso que otros, una aunténtica joya de diseño y entretenimiento. Es lo más parecido en mesa al Civilization de Sid Meiers de PC. Éste había que encontrarlo de 2a mano, porque nuevo, el precio prohibitivo! Pero va a salir nueva edición en castellano para 2021.

Tontísimo. Por una parte 4 horas haciendo lo mismo: Avances y Recolectar y por otra mover figuritas y tirar los dados.
