In this colossal game, players lead their historic empire as they gain victory points by expanding their population, building cities, trading and developing their knowledge and culture.
Notwithstanding its large scope, the game's core mechanics are straightforward and easy to learn. A key element in the game is player interaction as they position themselves on the map board and search for valuable commodities during interactive trading sessions.
Scope
The game was designed to be the biggest board game in the world that can be played in a single day in one room. In its full scope, the map board measures over 2 meters (80 inch) in width. Despite its ambitions about size and duration, Mega Civilization can be scaled down to as few as 5 players. The game includes a Short Game scenario, which reduces playing time through an accelerated start position.

Es una reimplementación del juego de civilizacion de Avalon Hill, pero ampliado a 18 jugadores y abarcando desde la india a la península ibérica. Se puede jugar en tamaño modular, y utilizar únicamente la parte de occidente o de oriente con 9 jugadores cada parte. Los jugadores deben llevar a su civilización hacia adelante, construyendo ciudades, y descubriendo tecnologías que le permitan sumar puntos y obtener ventajas. El entreturno es brutal (por la cantidad de jugadores necesaria para sacarle "jugo" al juego), pero bueno, es una buena experiencia. Es el típico juego que únicamente se pued
1 game. 13 players. Played with Babylonia, very hard position with other 5 neighbours! I play very well with commerce (almost all calamities pass to other player xD) but all the secondary effects are too much heavy! The old game better rewarded trade, which is the great pillar of the game!!! Too much caos and I'm not understand how the game can be too much unbalanced. It's a pity for a remake of a great clasic game. Maybe is best to play with less player with no very clear weak position at the begining. And check rules of secondary effects!
