I do not know Everdell, but from what I have read, this version seems to follow the same spirit. The game is really beautiful, very nice components and art. A nice combination of worker placement, resoruce management, tableu building, and even set collection to achieve bonus. Everything in a relatively simple environment, but I would not say this is an entrance game. I cannot even understand the 6+ in the game, there is no way a 6 years old plays the game correctly unless few exceptions. It is a very nice family game for children at least 8+, and certainly enough for a lot of adults (me,
