Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game
Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game is a card-driven dice game in which players use special dice to develop their corporations and terraform Mars into a new home for humanity. The dice represent resources that players spend to play cards and perform other actions. During the game, you increase your production of dice, terraform, place cities and greenery tiles on the board, and gain various bonuses. Each turn, you either produce new dice (Production Turn) or perform actions (Action Turn).
What is Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game
Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game is a card-driven dice game in which players use special dice to develop their corporations and terraform Mars into a new home for humanity. The dice represent resources that players spend to play cards and perform other actions. During the game, you increase your production of dice, terraform, place cities and greenery tiles on the board, and gain various bonuses. Each turn, you either produce new dice (Production Turn) or perform actions (Action Turn).
Whenever you terraform Mars (raise oxygen or temperature, or place an ocean tile), you gain 2 Victory Points (VP). You can also gain VP for placing tiles and playing cards, as well as winning Awards and Milestones.
The game ends when two of the three global parameters — oxygen/temperature/ocean — have been completed. The player with most VP wins.

Es más sencillo que sus predecesores y, para mi gusto, más satisfactorio. Después de haber jugado al TM original, y a TM Ares Expedition, encuentro esta edición más ágil, divertida y disfrutable. Para quien no tenga ninguna edición de TM, y guste de partidas cortas (1h aprox) y dinámicas, sin duda recomendaría esta versión. También es apto para personas que llevan poco en la afición y se quieren introducir.

¿La sociedad demandaba un nuevo TERRAFORMING MARS pero de dados? No. ¿Era necesario? Tampoco. ¿Es un buen juego? Lo es. TERRAFORMING MARS DADOS que nos propone una vuelta, después de haber pasado por EXPEDICION ARES, a las mecánicas del terraforming original solo que simplificando y acortando las partidas gracias a una interesante gestión de dados y cartas. La parte del tablero es prácticamente igual al TERRAFORMING MARS y lo único que cambia que es la gestión de recursos por la gestión de dados (cuyas caras se convierten en los recursos) funciona mejor que bien. Rápido y fácil de jugar. Entretiene y es muy llamativo con el tema de los dados y tablero. No obstante, hay mucho azar. Puedes mitigarlo pero si tienes mala suerte con las cartas y con los dados puedes estar varios turnos sin avanzar, lo cual penaliza bastante y costará que recuperes en puntuación. A pesar de que el juego fluye y divierte la sensación después de varias partidas es que se trata de jugar cartas al tuntún, no he tenido la sensación de que comben demasiado entre ellas...por lo que no hay una estrategia que puedas elaborar que te lleve a la victoria sino tener suerte entre las cart
