What is Sail
Strap up your piratical boots, and navigate your ship through turbulent waters in Sail, a co-operative trick-taking game for two players. Reach the end of this dangerous deep end, and avoid taking damage from the Kraken to win the game together...or your crew will be sleeping with the fish!
Before each round begins, players exchange cards, then play a series of tricks. Different game actions will be triggered depending on who wins each trick in combination with the unique character skills. However, the crashing sea water and the roaring Kraken make for a deafening situation, and players are unable to communicate about tactics and card information from the moment cards are dealt to the end of the action phase.
Players win the game as a team if they sail their ship into the final token before the Kraken reaches the Death tile or the Kraken deck is exhausted.

8,4 Juego de bazas con comunicación muy limitada que te pide hacer combos concretos de cartas para hacer avanzar un barco antes de que te elimine del juego la tormenta o el malvado Kraken. Tiene un libro de misiones bastante pequeñito, pero compensa con un nivel de dificultad muy apretado con posibilidad de ajustar cogiendo diferentes personajes con habilidades más o menos potentes. El juego con los componentes de cartón es algo caro para lo que ofrece, pero compensa con un arte sobresaliente y unas mecánicas que son un auténtico pique. Como pequeña nota: no me gusta que la carta que indica

Otro juego originalísimo exclusivo, eso sí, para dos jugadores. Carece de solitario y le habría venido estupendo. Se ha olvidado por desgracia antes de tiempo. La versión legacy que va a salir le hará flaco favor.
-idioma: inglés (independiente del idioma, las cartas de personaje tienen texto por un lado pero la misma explicación con iconos por el otro)
