Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island is a game that takes the players to a deserted island, where they'll play the parts of shipwreck survivors confronted by an extraordinary adventure. They'll be faced with the challenges of building a shelter, finding food, fighting wild beasts, and protecting themselves from weather changes. The players decide in which direction the game will unfold and – after several in-game weeks of hard work – how their settlement will look. Will they manage to discover the secret of the island in the meantime? Will they find a pirate treasure, or an abandoned village? Will they discover an underground city or a cursed temple at the bottom of a volcano? Answers to these questions lie in hundreds of event cards and hundreds of object and structure cards that can be used during the game.

In Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island you will take the role of one of four characters from the ship crew (cook, carpenter, explorer, or soldier) and work cooperatively to build a shelter, palisade, weapons, tools ,etc and do everything you can to survive. You will have to find food, fight wild beasts, and protect yourself from weather changes among other hazards.
Search for treasures. Discover mysteries. Follow goals of six different, engaging scenarios. Start by building a big pile of wood and setting it on fire to call for help, and then start new adventures.

Es un juego colaborativo en el que se ofrecen hasta seis escenarios distintos que suceden en una isla en la que los jugadores han naufragados. Sólo he jugado de momento el primer escenario. Es un juego bastante dificil de ganar, pero asegura una buena experiencia. Es muy cinematográfico. En el primer escenario, tuvimos que cazar, explorar la isla, contruir el campamento, protegernos del frío y demás.. y además construir una pila de madera para hacer señales a un hipotético barco. Despues de echar un vistazo a los escenarios, el juego no hace sino ganar puntos. Cada escenario ofrece alternati
Modo solo Encantado de jugar a este juego, plantea retos muy interesantes y la mecánica funciona de forma excelente sin ser muy compleja. Necesita extras para que la rejugabilidad no se resienta. Si te gustan los juegos de exploración y/o supervivencia, este juego te va perfecto.

Robinson Crusoe can be considered as an euro-thematic game, or a so-called eurotrash: it’s a great implementation between resources management and dices. Although I think it’s more eurogame than ameritrash. In this co-operative game we will have to put in survivor’s shoes in order to strive to accomplish the goals of one of seven different scenarios, even though it’s true that a large number of scenarios can be downloaded. Regardless of being in an apparently idyllic island, our survivors will have to face up to harsh challenge and to overcome extreme situations in order to achieve the target
