Quarto
Quarto has a 4×4 board and 16 pieces. Each piece has four dichotomous attributes — color, height, shape, and consistency — so each piece is either black or white, tall or short, square or round, and hollow or solid. The object is to place the fourth piece in a row in which all four pieces have at least one attribute in common. The twist is that your opponent gets to choose the piece you place on the board each turn.

Es un cuatro en raya, con la novedad de que lo que hay que alinear no son piezas sino características. El toque genial del juego es que tu escoges la pieza que tiene que jugar tu contrincante. Abstracto para dos jugadores muy recomendable. Le tenía especial cariño, pero no lo jugaba absolutamente nunca y no veía posibilidades de hacerlo, así que en junio de 2015 lo vendí a Galarth de la BSK, junto Dixit jinx que gané en lo del juego que rula, con entrega en mano en las clbsk a cargo de yamakasi (yo no fui). Ambos juntos por 13€. snif.

Good-looking coffee table game that adds a twist to Connect 4. Placing the last piece in a row of 4 with the same characteristic (size, shape, color) wins you the game with the twist, that your opponent decides which one you have to place. Can be a very thinky game when you think 10 moves ahead. Because of the many possibilities, we're not at this point yet, and enemy turns can be quite unengaging. Great game to leave on the table and play over multiple days.
