In Quacks, which was first released as The Quacks of Quedlinburg, players are charlatans — or quack doctors — each making their own secret brew by adding ingredients one at a time. Take care with what you add, though, for a pinch too much of this or that will spoil the whole mixture!
Each player has their own bag of ingredient chips. During each round, they simultaneously draw chips from their bags and add them to their pots. The higher the face value of the drawn chip, the further it is placed in the pot's swirling pattern, increasing how much the potion will be worth. Push your luck as far as you can, but if you add too many cherry bombs, your pot will explode!
At the end of each round, players gain victory points and coins to spend on new ingredients, depending on how well they managed to fill up their pots. But players whose pots have exploded must choose points or coins — not both! The player with the most victory points at the end of nine rounds wins the game.

What the community says about Quacks
Great push your luck, fun for the whole family (but I usually go for the same combo of abilities to not overwhelm them) or with people in the hobby... the bag building makes you feel smart when you get that great combo of chips in a row, but the luck keeps it light if you bust in the first moves you make, either way, get the right group and this game is a blast, with laughs nonstop.
I suck at this game, but, I enjoy seeing the faces of everyone else pulling out spikes from their bags :)

Un push your luck espectacular. Fácil de jugar, divertido, para todos los públicos y con mucha rejugabilidad con la variedad de combinaciones de las pizcas y las cartas de pitonisa. Aún así echo en falta un set de cartas de pitonisa un poco más amplio. Lo malo es que las pizcas iniciales y las más baratas se estropean antes, dejando cada vez más fácil adivinar si estás cogiendo una "vieja" o "nueva" por la textura más áspera. Recomiendo fundas 3D o sustitución por pizcas de metacrilato (ver en bgg store).
Un clásico push your luck familiar, divertido y tenso que se puede sacar a mesa fácilmente y a un público muy amplio. Una de sus mayores virtudes es la rejugabilidad ya que trae suficiente variedad de losetas para cambiar los poderes de las pizcas que obtendrás en el mercado, pudiendo generar multitud de combinaciones diferentes. Muy disfrutable y recomendable.
