What is Nokosu Dice

Nokosu Dice is a trick-taking game playing Number Cards and dice in their hand to win mini-games and score points against the other players over multiple rounds.

In each trick, each player plays a card or die from their hand, and the winner of the trick scores a point. There is also a chance to win bonus points at the end of each round if the number of the tricks won in the round matches the last dice left OR if a player declares they would not win any trick for the round and actually won no tricks.

The implementation of dice as cards for a trick tacking game is brilliant. I love how the players have a little bit of agency on how they will score by choosing (sort of) what final die to keep. You need to play with the 2nd edition rules, the 3rd edition rules mess the 0 trick declaration mechanic up and make going for 0 tricks more random and harder with no need for that.
