From the humble beginnings of civilization through the historical ages of progress, mankind has lived, fought, and built together in nations. Great nations protect and provide for their own, while fighting and competing against both other nations and nature itself. Nations must provide food and stability as the population increases. They must build a productive economy. And all the while, they must amaze the world with their great achievements to build up their heritage as the greatest nations in the history of mankind!
What is Nations

Nations is an intense historical board game for 1–5 players that takes 40 minutes per player to play. Players control the fate of nations from their humble start in prehistoric times until the beginning of World War I. The nations constantly compete against each other and must balance immediate needs, long-term growth, threats, and opportunities.
Gameplay introduction
Players choose a Nation and a difficulty to play at, similar to the Civilization computer games series. After the growth phase, 2 historical events are revealed, which the players will compete for during the round. Then players take a single small action each, in player order, as many times as they wish until all have passed. Actions are:

Juegazo. Es una versión un poco más euro del TTA. Mas sencilla y facil de explicar, pero también con una profundidad de juego increible. No se juegan todas las cartas en cada partida, con lo que hay mucha rejugabilidad.. Nunca le diría que no. Aunque es más corto que el TTA, te puede llevar un rato. Mas de dos horas seguros. Otra diferencia loable: Admite hasta cinco jugadores. MUY RECOMENDABLE.

excelente juego de civilización, a wishlist. Lo volví a jugar y definitivamente hay que tenerlo, ya o califco como 10. 22/05/2014: otra partida épica del nations, volví a quedar de segundo pero me sigue pareciendo genial :) 26/05/2014: juego en solitario, muy buena la dinámica, que juego tan genial, puntuación 35, rango=cleopatra
Es mi juego preferido. Los juegos de civilización me parecen intensos, emocionantes y en particular muy divertidos. Demanda concentración y planificación a largo plazo. El grupo de juego ha de saber que es un juego que puede tardar media jornada de juego o incluso toda la sesión. No es bueno jugar con aficionados que se fatigan con facilidad.

Tengo la impresion de que Nations no es dificil de jugar, pero muy dificil de dominar. Sin duda, es un buen juego. Sin embargo, puede resultar implacable, y a veces hasta frustrante. Hasta ahora, mi experiencia con el juego han sido partidas a 2 jugadores, y, en esas partidas, el jugador que se descuelga, lo hizo de forma temprana y definitiva, creandose una brecha imposible de recuperar contra el jugador dominante. Entonces, la partida del segundo jugador se convierte en un suplicio. Esta percepcion del juego a 2 jugadores parece confirmarse con los comentarios de otros jugadores en BGG.
Una pasada de juego, para los amantes de la microgestión, recursos, y apurar puntos de victoria buscando las mejores vías posibles, y siempre con tensión de ir teniendo los recursos justos. Único punto negativo: la caja GIGANTE, sobra aire de forma exagerada! Me gusta bastante más que el TTA, empezando por la duración, consigue unas sensaciones muy parecidas, y no tienes la sensación de que alguna carta como líder o maravilla, ha descompensado totalmente el juego por estar muy OP y no hablemos de lo exagerado del TTA del militar y que te salga o no cierta carta de guerra que también puede esta
