Merv: The Heart of the Silk Road is a tense economic game charting the rise and fall of the greatest city in the world.
In Merv, players are vying to amass power and wealth in the prosperous heart of the Silk Road. Through careful court intrigue, timely donations to the grand mosque, and favorable trade deals, players attempt to redirect as much of that prosperity as possible into their own pockets.
Meanwhile, beyond the city walls Mongol hordes approach. If you help construct the city walls, you give up on precious opportunities to build up your own stature, but leave it unprotected and you will burn with the city. Every decision is weighty and the consequences of each misstep are dire. Will you rise to prominence or fade into oblivion?

Es un juego de colocación de trabajadores, pero los trabajadores se colocan siempre en posiciones fijas de una cuadrícula y se mueven por los lados del cuadrado que la contiene. Las acciones son las losetas que que ocupan esa cuadrícula, que cambian en cada partida, y que corresponden a la fila o columna que ocupa el meeple. Con este juego tengo el corazón dividido. Por un lado si lo juego con más personas y me olvido del solitario, la experiencia s muy agradable. Tiene una interacción picante donde estás atento en entre turno por si tienes que cobrar de las acciones de los demás. Es verdad que el centro del tablero es un poco multicolor y aunque es bonito, también es algo lioso. Donde peca para mi es en el apartado del solitario (que es mi asunto favorito). Tiene un automa que junta la gestión de dos jugadores: el ficticio de partidas a 2 y el automa en si. Directamente no me he molestado en jugarlo porque para m
