La expansión Líderes de la Expedición eleva el nivel de las Ruinas perdidas de Arnak hasta el sobresaliente aportando una notable asimmetría entre jugadores que le otorga rejugabilidad y sensaciones aún mejores a las partidas. El juego base (después de unas cuantas partidas) podía transmitir la sensación de haber aperturas estándar o de que todos los jugadores intentamos conseguir siempre lo mismo en los primeros turnos.
