In Imhotep, the players become builders in Egypt who want to emulate the first and best-known architect there, namely Imhotep.
Over six rounds, they move wooden stones by boat to create five seminal monuments, and on a turn, a player chooses one of four actions: Procure new stones, load stones on a boat, bring a boat to a monument, or play an action card. While this sounds easy, naturally the other players constantly thwart your building plans by carrying out plans of their own. Only those with the best timing — and the stones to back up their plans — will prove to be Egypt's best builder.

Juegazo. Sencillo de explicar y de jugar (4 posibles acciones: recoger piedras, cargar barco, descargar barco y usar carta) así que es muy fácil de sacar a mesa pero, no te dejes engañar, tus decisiones son cruciales. Tiene un punto de puteo gracioso porque puedes enviar barcos en los que tú no estés, al destino que quieras. Visualmente es muy bonito y muy tangible pues con las rocas cierras la cámara funeraria, construyes pirámides u obeliscos. Además, cada zona de puntuación tiene 2 caras diferentes así que le aporta mucha variabilidad.
Juego de los que me gustan. Sencillo de reglas, pero con estrategia y puteo. Se trata de colaborar en la construcción de monumentos egipcios. Las opciones de un jugador en su turno son sencillas: O cargas piedras en un barco, o mueves un barco, o repones el almacen desde la cantera. Está bastante chulo. Además, cada monumento tiene sus propias reglas para puntuar y cada partida es configurable. Muy entrentido y familiar. PEro perfectamente válido para jugones.
Un gran juego familiar. Me ha gustado mucho. Sencillo de reglas, pero con decisiones interesantes a tomar en cada turno. Es bastante abstracto, aunque el tema está bien implementado. Mecánica de mayorías y posicionamiento. Destaca por su interacción, tienes que mirar continuamente a los demás y la situación del tablero. Muy recomendable.
