Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle
The forces of evil are threatening to overrun Hogwarts castle in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, a cooperative deck-building game, and it's up to four students to ensure the safety of the school by defeating villains and consolidating their defenses. In the game, players take on the role of a Hogwarts student: Harry, Ron, Hermione or Neville, each with their own personal deck of cards that's used to acquire resources.

In the game, players take on the role of a Hogwarts student: Harry, Ron, Hermione or Neville, each with their own personal deck of cards that's used to acquire resources.
By gaining influence, players add more cards to their deck in the form of iconic characters, spells, and magical items. Other cards allow them to regain health or fight against villains, keeping them from gaining power. The villains set back players with their attacks and Dark Arts. Only by working together will players be able to defeat all of the villains, securing the castle from the forces of evil.

De mis juegos favoritos de construcción de mazos (aunque mi corazón le pertenece a slay the spire). La caja base tiene contenido de sobra como para explotar el juego mucho después de completar las cajas desbloqueables (realmente vas desbloqueando el juego final poco a poco). Muy disfruton aunque hay partidas donde los eventos echan a perder todo el progreso. Por eso (y porque es feo como un pie) no puedo darle más.
My biggest issue with HP Hogwarts Battle is the villians stacking from chapter to chapter, making the game too long from chapter 4 on. It kind of ruins the experience for a potential great family game.
La mecánica es repetitiva y es muy dependiente del azar. Si las cartas de enemigo que te salen al principio son muy difíciles es complicado ganar ya que debes ir construyendo el mazo en la speimeras rondas para poder defenderte de enemigos fuertes. Es la principal pega que le veo.

Excelente deckbuilding colaborativo ambientado en el mundo de Harry Potter. Mecánicas muy bien implementadas y adaptación practicamente perfecta del mundo de Potter a un juego de construcción de mazos. Complejidad creciente con un sistema de 7 "escenarios" (llamados GAMES 1-7) que van incorporando nuevas reglas progresivamente.
