Everdell is a game of dynamic tableau building and worker placement.
On their turn a player can take one of three actions:
a) Place a Worker: Each player has a collection of Worker pieces. These are placed on the board locations, events, and on Destination cards. Workers perform various actions to further the development of a player's tableau: gathering resources, drawing cards, and taking other special actions.

La primera partida te deja descafeinado. En la segunda empiezas a ver su potencial y en la tercera partida ya no quieres jugar a otra cosa. Universo que a mí parecer se ha extendido demasiado. Pero se le perdona por el arte y la calidad de componentes
Posiblemente uno de mis eurogames favoritos. Las mecánicas son sencillas a la hora de enseñar a nuevos jugadores y lo suficientemente intrincadas para jugadores más experimentados que busquen jugar con estrategia. Aún así el azar de las cartas lo convierte en un euro más tirando a familiar. Luego estéticamente es increíble, las ilustraciones de las cartas, la calidad de los componentes y ese árbol en mitad del tablero lo convierten en un juego muuuy vistoso en mesa.

Es un juego puro de combos. Sólo dura cuatro turnos, y en esos cuatro turnos, cada jugador tiene que ir construyendo una "ciudad" que consiste en una matriz de cartas de 3x5.. tratando de conseguir materiales y combinaciones que te permitan comprar otras cartas que al bajarlas te ofrezcan ventajas. Es un juego puramente de combos. Apenas hay interacción entre jugadores, a parte de la típica en un colocación de trabajadores y una serie de objetivos globales. Está entretenido, aunque imagino que le sacas más provecho cuando conoces mejor el juego. Con una partida, no creo que se aprecie todo su
Al juego base no le sobra ni le falta nada. Es sencillo, ligero y satisfactorio. Tiene una tangibilidad súper gustosita, con componentes preciosos. Quizás la única pega sea el árbol, que es un coñazo y se estropea con mirarlo, pero no es una queja lo suficientemente pesada como para bajarle la nota.
Un eurogame cuya mecánica fundamental es realizar combos con las cartas. También presenta un pequeño componente de colocación de trabajadores, aunque es minoritario. Lo primero que hay que decir de este juego es que visualmente es MARAVILLOSO, su presencia en mesa es digna de ver, siendo su apartado artístico una de sus mayores virtudes. Aun en su juego base la rejugabilidad es alta debido a la gran cantidad de variaciones por partidas que presenta (cartas, objetivos especiales y formas de obtención de recursos).
