Carcata is a light strategy game including a catapult-like volcano by Roberto Fraga.
As ancestral tradition dictates, when the time comes for the Great Challenge, the local tribes send their 5 most valiant warriors to Carcata, the volcano island.
There, they will have to defend the honor of their tribe and prove their courage for collecting the gems fired by the furious volcano, while avoiding the danger that awaits them!
This was a time before Carcata island was called Krakatoa!

Bought for 15€. It is very impresive on the table, and the game itself is really fine. To be played knowing that you may be killed, even by yourself, so do not take it seriously. The only thing that does not really work is the volcano tool to throw stones. It is incredibly difficult to throw with any specific intention... although maybe that's the way it is intended to be. This game is very clearly on the line of the designer, a bit crazy, funny, and not to be taken too seriously, but you really have to make decisions. NOTE: I also do not like the rule that allows to throw dice as many t
