Aventura Z: Vol 1 Lovecraft
Adventure Z is a narrative game for one or two players. In Volume 1: Lovecraft, players will take on the role of one or two investigators to solve a case cover in mystery and dark powers beyond the human understanding. Inspired in the H.P. Lovecraft literary work, this volume has two separate adventures ("Color Out of Space" and "The Shadow Over Innsmouth") with up to 40 different maps where the insight and cunning of the players will be essential to survive and discover up to five different endings per adventure.
What is Aventura Z: Vol 1 Lovecraft
Adventure Z is a narrative game for one or two players. In Volume 1: Lovecraft, players will take on the role of one or two investigators to solve a case cover in mystery and dark powers beyond the human understanding. Inspired in the H.P. Lovecraft literary work, this volume has two separate adventures ("Color Out of Space" and "The Shadow Over Innsmouth") with up to 40 different maps where the insight and cunning of the players will be essential to survive and discover up to five different endings per adventure.
You will only need the notebook, the deck of cards and a few dice, unfolding the game quickly to enter the adventure. After each scenario, the players will unlock new maps in which they will have to make decisions that will affect to the story, similar to what happens in "Choose your own adventure" books or a role-playing game.
Playing through the maps alone or as a pair will challenge players against dark enemies, ghoulish puzzles, clue investigation and puzzle solving.
Adventure Z's mechanics are easy to learn, each turn a player will have two actions that can be used to move their character, investigate an area on the map or activate a team card trying to free new maps before they run out of time.

Finalizado y vendido
Poco testeo, prisas por sacar el juego y con pdf de correcciones al dia siguiente por parte del autor. Tal como entro salió de mi ludoteca, se me fueron todas las ganas de tenerlo.
Juegazo con un precio muy ajustado. Muy divertido e inmersivo, con eventos y puzzles que sorprenden, que no voy a entrar en detalle para no condicionar a nadie. El mayor problema que tiene es lo escueto que es el manual, dejándose cosas por explicar, pero que el autor se encarga de solventar a través del foro de este portal.

Un juego entretenido y divertido que, por el precio que tiene, es bastante recomendable. Los problemas que tiene (dudas en las reglas, situaciones confusas que están abiertas a la interpretación o el hecho de tener las reglas en el mismo cuaderno que los escenarios, dificultando la consulta) hacen que no le ponga una nota más alta. Es una pena, porque de haber salido sin esos problemas, sería un juego buenísimo. Esperando que mejoren en esos aspectos para siguientes entregas.
En primer lugar quiero destacar y felicitar la rapidez en la reacción de la editorial y el autor por resolver todos los problemas de erratas que se han ido localizando en esta primera edición del juego elaborando faqs, fe de erratas y reglamentos actualizados disponibles para toda la comunidad. Se trata de un juego con muchísimas variantes y con multitud de finales alternativos que encajan como un complejo rompecabezas ofreciendo con la dificultad añadida de ser tanto un juego para jugar en solitario como para dos jugadores y que a nivel de historia funciona como la maquinaria de un reloj.
