Arkadia is a game about building the city and castle of Arkadia.
Players use builders, cards, workers, and neutral workers to build houses in Arkadia. Houses are built with the seal of one of 4 families; this family gave the building order and will get the building player its seal.
These seals can be changed for victory points. But seals are subject to changing values. The growing castle (every time a house is built, players also build on the castle) has the 4 seals on it as well, which decides the value of each seal. The castle is also the game's timer: once the second layer is built, the last round starts. The player with the most gold wins.

Played in Yucata. Very cool old fashion game. Simple concepts, small number of options, but still never easy to get the best choice. Market manipulation and the positioning of workers and buildings in the board work really cleverly.

Tiene una mecánica parecida a la colocación de mosaicos en el Cleopatra y utiliza unas fichas para crear el castillo que recuerda sobre manera al torres. Sencillo de explicar y de jugar, pero dificil de ganar. Muy original. Comprado a Moriarty en Feb2011 por 25€ En Peñacastillo desde Feb2012 Vendido el 05/01/2015 a Alberto MErino, a través de la BSK, en un lote de 13 juegos por 200€, con gastos de envío incluidos. Hice dos envíos. Este fue en el primer envío.

Juego muy bonito que parece familiar pero esconde una amplia gestión del espacio, tiempo y dinero que hace pensar lo suyo. Mezcla de juego de gestión espacial, por colocación trabajadores y de edificios a lo tetris (principes de florencia) junto con juego económico y gestión de multiplicadores de puntos (torres del castillo) y tiempos de cúando usarlos. Muyy chulo, ideal con 3, recomendado para 2 también.
