A Bourbon army of 24,000 soldiers, faced an Australian army of 17,000. Spanish, French, Dutch, English and Portuguese soldiers, among others, fought defending the interests of their dynasties.
The Spanish War of Succession brought about the end of the reign of the Austrias in Spain, giving way to the Bourbons. Undoubtedly, one of the decisive battles of the History of Spain and the History of Europe. A war that, due to the extensive conflict, could have been considered the First World War.
