"Warp Skirmish is an abstract Wargame system that utilizes a mix of board, card, dice and unit elements to create a system with chess-like strategy, fog-of-war uncertainty and module expandability."

"The modules contain the game setting, background, unit and card definitions and the rules that augment or change the Warp Skirmish engine."

Warp Skirmish was entered in the 2002 Microgame Design Contest. Two modules were included with the contest entry:

"Fix Bayonets is an abstract skirmish level game built on the Warp Skirmish Engine. It is balanced for 2 players. This module depicts man-to-man fighting in the Argonne Forest 1918. One player is the defending American Lost Battalion. The other player is the attacking German Stormtroopers."
