The 1st Canadian Infantry Division left Britain across 92 Allied convoy ships for Operation Husky. Tragically, German U-boats sank three of these transport vessels en route, resulting in severe losses of the division’s vehicles and heavy transport. Due to such losses the Canadian infantry marched almost 200 kilometers on foot over some of the most harsh and mountainous terrain Sicily had to offer. They battled blinding dust, water shortages, and summer heat upwards of 107°F. Thousands suffered from malaria, dysentery and dehydration. Many Canadians euphemistically called their march “A walk in the park!”

The Canadians faced hardened German veterans of the Eastern Front in terrain that heavily favored the defender. Rules for massive artillery barrages and terrain features are provided for the scenarios that need them. All this fun in one package! This battalion level scenario pack chronicles the major battles of Canadian Army duriinig Operation Husky and contains 7 exciting miniatures war game scenarios written in campaign form and playable by 2-4 players.

The scenarios include data sheets for vehicles and uses Fist Full of TOWs 3 rules. Scenarios can be easily converted to your favorite game system.
