SWARM Mode is the product of two years of design and testing, thanks to the amazing community, creating what is in effect a new game system that complements FSD, allowing players to play solo or co-op.
Enemies are not controlled through random actions, or with a flowchart. Players roll a separate set of Activation dice for the Swarm, and through the Collective Cards must pick between different commands for the Unit to receive.
Every choice brings consequence, and the players are at any point trying to win, choosing the lesser evil while trying to achieve the scenario’s goals, and of course surviving.
Each of the six available scenarios provides different levels of difficulty, by varying the amount of ADs the Swarm rolls, and by setting achievements for the players to unlock. This widens the scope of the game, opens up to many new challenges, mixing and matching between forces and Swarm opponents!
