Solitri
Solitri is a cooperative logic card game centered around constructing structured numerical sequences under pressure. Set in an abstract but tightly controlled system, players work together to form exactly three complete rows of cards numbered 1 to 8, while managing constraints such as limited card placement space, a shrinking draw pile, and restricted discard capacity. The game emphasizes coordination, efficiency, and precision.
What is Solitri
Solitri is a cooperative logic card game centered around constructing structured numerical sequences under pressure. Set in an abstract but tightly controlled system, players work together to form exactly three complete rows of cards numbered 1 to 8, while managing constraints such as limited card placement space, a shrinking draw pile, and restricted discard capacity. The game emphasizes coordination, efficiency, and precision.
Each turn, a player must either play a card to one of the shared rows—only if it matches the required numeric adjacency or discard a card, which is dangerous due to strict discard limits. Cards have either a wave or no-wave symbol, which interacts with team objectives and resource collection (tokens). These tokens can be spent on powerful one-time support abilities to help manage the increasingly difficult puzzle.
To win, the team must collaboratively complete three full sequences from 1 to 8 before the draw pile runs out, while also fulfilling a series of randomly drawn objective cards. These objectives introduce unique constraints or requirements (such as using a specific number of wave cards in a row), requiring careful planning.
Solitri’s gameplay delivers a tense, puzzle-like experience where even small decisions ripple through the system. Success demands precise timing, spatial reasoning, and a deep sense of shared responsibility, making it a rewarding challenge for groups that enjoy cooperative and analytical games.
