What is Redsky

In Redsky: The Boardgame, you lead an iron-age civilization from its heroic founding, through its golden days of empire, and then try to survive the apocalypse.

During setup, you create a unique and modular world map, choose a faction, and place your starting city. Each game, you settle new cities and place villages to gather resources. You spend those resources to raise armies, upgrade your cities and to develop your own unique culture.

You customize your culture with powerful Virtue and Vice cards and combine multiple cards to propel your civilization to new heights. Each Round, players draw a new Event card. Early game Events provide new opportunities. But beware! At the end of the game, in the Redsky Era, apocalyptic Events can wipe your civilization out.

To win the game, players have to survive the Redsky Era, and collect the most Virtue cards. — Vices are free, and help you get ahead of the competition, but plan carefully! They count against you during final scoring.
