About the game

What is Postcard Guadalcanal

A couple weeks ago my 11 year old daughter beat me in this in a typical last-minute cliff-hanger game.

The game is so unpredictable - all the chances are 50% die rolls or coin tosses - it is ideal for solitaire play too.

8 half-month turns for U.S. or Japan to take and keep Henderson Field, Guadalcanal.

2 battleship, 2 cruiser - a 3rd for U.S. if/when 1 is lost - 2 carrier, and 2 transport pieces each, plus Yamato for Japanese if an IJN battleship piece is lost.
