About the game
What is Mare Nostrum 3.0
Mare Nostrum 3.0 is an updated of my first "published" war-game from the 1990s.
Mare Nostrum 3.0 allows large-scale galley battles on a hex-grid.
Designed for fast-play, each player controls a squadron, typically 6-12 ships.
Ramming and boarding are resolved quickly, and each turn every squadron checks morale to determine if they flee the battle, usually creating decisive swings which determine the victors.
