About the game

What is Manhattan 1929 (fan expansion for Age of Steam)

Manhattan 1929 is a fan-made Print & Play Age of Steam expansion map for 3-5 players, designed by Clef Haworth.

To simulate the stock-market crash of 1929, the game features "crashing" cities, which effectively become colorless Cities devoid of cubes once its empty column is rolled during the Goods Growth phase. Each time this occurs, all players immediately lose Income equal to half that of their current Income Reduction tier. Once a number of Cities equal to the starting player count, Wall Street will also crash, doubling all Income Reduction amounts going forward and preventing further issuing of Shares.
