Guardians of the Hidden City expands Four Against Darkness with new options for elf characters, introducing ancient magical traditions, powerful allies, strange artifacts, and new paths to mastery. Travel through the mysterious Saybleth pathways to reach the Hidden City and seek the favor of the Elven Council. Earn unique rewards, collect enchanted masks and musical instruments, pursue special Milestones, and unlock exclusive spells unavailable by any other means. Master six schools of elven magic (Radiant, Shadow, Ember, Storm, Spirit, and Poison magic), each of which gradually transforms those who study its secrets. Lead magical choirs capable of reshaping the world, healing allies, or destroy enemies. Play new character classes, including the Elven Champion, Mistguard, Primordial Singer, Warden Singer, and Elven Wailer, each with its own abilities and Traits Table. Finally, test your new heroes in The Unholy Alliance, a complete adventure in which an ambitious cambion and his ghoul allies threaten to uncover the road to the Hidden City. The gates are hidden but the Saybleth Path calls you. Ancient songs resonate through the forest. Will you become one of the Guardians?
