About the game

What is Esotera, the Awakening

Esotera, the Awakening, is a new entry into the world of TCG that takes the complexities of most card games and reduces them to 10 game modifiers, 4 card values, and 1 card archetype value. The entire game involves a deck of 40 cards, hands of 5 matches consisting of 3 - 5 rounds with 5 turns for each player. With this seeming simplicity is a very low barrier to entry for new players, but a lot of complexity, strategy, and deck building for dedicated players to maximize the win: loss of the game mechanics!

Aside from the game aspect of Esotera, it is also a cultural doorway to many religions, societies, fantasy, science fiction, and even Alien Conspiracy theory that unites all of these things into an easy to digest medium that will push the imagination and interest of the player. Finally the post Kickstarter goals of the project will be to establish a non-profit debt forgiveness program that collects Student loan and medical debts and forgives them unconditionally as a way of giving back to the greater community during these unprecedented times!
