What is Brigadier Alexander Jack+: Sikh Wars, 1845-1849
An abstracted regimental level game about the British (and Sepoy) battles against the Sikhs and their potential Afghan and Kashmiri allies in the Punjab.
Bi-monthly turns in the less scorching fall-winter-spring months.
Point to point operational map with optional hexagonal tactical battle maps, including Kangra Fort - never previously taken, even by Alexander the Great - which my GGG Granduncle Alexander Jack subdued by getting 18-pounder cannon pulled up by elephants into overlooking mountains - see the watercolor painting he had commissioned.
(Alexander and youngest brother Andrew just ill-timedly visiting from Australia would both die in the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion Cawnpore Massacre. An English general was in command - they were Scots, the sons of William and Grace Jack of King's University, Aberdeen.)
