What is Barbarity
Barbarity is a competitive card adventure game themed around barbarians in popular culture, such as Robert E. Howard stories, and '80's sword and sorcery films and comics. It's very brutal and gory, but played for laughs, and has plenty of easter eggs referencing the films and stories it's based upon.
Each player is represented by a hero card in the game, and the objective is to win Prize Cards, which can be useful gear, companions, pets (think giant boars and wolves, rather than kitties and puppers) or land. Prize Cards have a victory point value and abilities that can be called upon after they have been captured. Opponents can use battle cards and special cards to try and prevent players claiming prize cards, so players must play their own special cards and battle cards to counter and defeat these.
The game ends when a player collects five prize cards, victory points are calculated, and the player with the highest number wins.
