Axia: Slayer Combo is a tactical card-placement and dice-management game where you take on the role of a Slayer, a legendary hunter tasked with restoring peace to the lands of Axia.
After the fall of the walls of Alakat, fearsome beasts and acolytes of ancient lineages roam freely across unknown regions. Only your strategic skill can stop them.
Over the course of 8 rounds, each Slayer builds a 3x3 territory of cards. On each turn, you will select dice from a shared pool, both physical and magical, to wound or defeat the creatures inhabiting your map.
The core of the game lies in its combo system: defeating certain beasts triggers immediate effects, allowing you to perform additional attacks, gain tactical tools, or chain multiple actions within a single turn.

Jugado en Córdoba. Se vende como muy combero, aunque después no lo es tanto. Partiendo de que me encantan los multi-solitarios, éste al depender fuertemente de unos dados y no del motor que te hayas formado tú, he ido perdiendo la motivación de seguir construyendo ese motor a medida que avanzaba el juego. A parte de todo esto, reglas muy sencillas, el juego se explica rápidamente. Una vez aprendidas las iconografías, que son varias, el juego fluye bien.
Juegazo que pudimos disfrutar en el festival del juego de Córdoba y nos compramos inmediatamente después. Me recuerda a Castle Combo por un lado, y luego los dados le dan un toque combero fantático. No le doy un diez porque las cartas las vimos un poco sobrecargadas y era un poco dificil enterarse de todos los elementos. Pero vamos, más que recomendado.
Lo hemos probado hoy en las jornadas de queremos jugar en Dos Hermanas. Nos ha encantado y eso que solo era el prototipo. Sale en octubre, deseando 💯☺️👏🏻
