What is Ancient Wargaming
From the editor's introduction:
In this "Ancient Wargaming" book, Phil Barker (a founder member of the Wargames Research Group) sets out to introduce the fascinations of the period to the novitiate ancient wargamer. He describes not only the troop types, weapons and tactics of the period, but also shows how to begin amassing armies of wargame figures which are balanced in their composition, and how to use these same armies to win ancient battles on the tabletop using the Wargames Research Group Ancient Rules.
