These new enemies introduce new mechanics, such as ice that freezes up your water column, making it harder to bucket out water, and fire that spreads across your ship faster than it can sink, making water cards actually valuable.

Your yearning for more treasure sends your sails further than you've ever gone before. Your crew heads to the ends of the known world. As far south and as far north as your maps show and beyond.

Legends tell of two giant turtles at either end of the earth. One made of ash and flame, the other of snow and ice.

It's said they guard the amassed treasure from every sunken ship throughout history, which the tides send to the poles. The turtles lie still in an eternal slumber until something disturbs them. The thump, thump, thump of a greedy heart. It pierces their heads like a beating drum, driving them mad. You can only imagine what the sound of a full crew of greedy pirates might sound like to them...
