What is Vengeful Dragons

The gameplay begins with each player establishing a board presence consisting of a unique Dragon Card—each possessing a distinct ability—and a single starting Treasure Card. From a starting hand of five cards, players must navigate a diverse deck featuring Magic, Relics, Traps, and Raiders. Unlike many turn-based games, the inclusion of Magic and Relic cards allows for instantaneous play, creating a reactive environment where a player's fortunes can shift in a heartbeat. This "instant-speed" mechanic ensures that all participants remain engaged, even when it is not their active turn.

Strategic depth is primarily found in the tension between offense and defense. Players must decide whether to commit resources to expanding their own hoard through Raider cards—stealing essential treasures from rivals—or to prioritize the protection of their current assets with Traps. Defense is managed through the clever placement of Traps and the utilization of Relics that provide passive buffs or active deterrents. Success requires reading the table and baiting opponents into triggering hidden Traps, effectively turning a rival's aggression into their own downfall.
