What is Tidemark

We didn't think you'd ever wake up after the hit you took to the head there. Come on, sit up and have some water, you look parched. Don't worry, it's clean. HA! Clean of Ichor at least. What do you mean you don't know what Ichor is? Just how hard of a hit did you take? Ichor! The algae what's eating up the whole world. By the Keelhauled Saint! Come on, on your feet. Look over the railing there. You see all that pink shite on the water? That's the Ichor. Came in over the Great Net Wall, and brought the flood to these here streets. Poor Haven, she was the jewel of the Maroon Island, and now she's not much more than a drowned corpse. That's where we are, you dolt. We're in Haven. Trapped here by the flood. It got in behind us before the lot of us could flee. No more ships, what can float, left in the city now. Just us dead men and our brandy. Come on, I'll show you around. Grab that cutlass you had with you, you're going to need it. The city might be dead, but the rats and scavengers are still about. Some of them are even the size of a man, if you catch my drift.

Tidemark is a, nautical-themed, survival table top game, designed as part of the ROC Flooded Game Jam, which takes place in the drowned city of Haven.

Destroyed by the ever-present Ichor, a mysterious magical algae that consumes all living beings and produces salt water as a byproduct, the streets of the city are choked with debris, water, and half consumed corpses. No one survives contact with The Ichor, except for the lucky few carrying enough Tin to ward it off.

Take control of your crew of mismatched survivors from the Islands of the Great Cay and help guide them through the drowned city. Gather Tin to generate punches and buy new equipment to stay ahead of your foes. Fight other survivor Crews with a lethal mix of Fencing, Throwing, and Shooting to push and maneuver them to the edge and toss them into the unforgiving Ichor. Just be careful not to be thrown in yourself. Earn experience and gain Skills (and some injuries) as you gather enough Tin to plate a raft and float inland to safety.
