Simple, introductory wargame, first in the Postcards from Tuscany series, being a spin off of the Battles of Middle Ages system, from TCS Games.
It is a classic wargame with hex map, leader activation through chit draw, while a peculiarity is the fact that each unit has variable strength, according to a chit drawn before each combat (or once for the entire game).
It is a print & play only game, featuring 2 different battles from Italian Middle Ages: Montaperti and Campaldino.
Each game has a single A4 map and around 80 playing counters
