What is Stem & Branch: Spirit Scrolls

This mini-expansion introduces Spirit Scrolls, unlocking multiple new paths to victory. The Spirit Animals you summon are now ancient guides sharing their knowledge of the five elements.

To master a scroll, you must learn directly from these spirit animals. Each time you summon one, you gain an opportunity to study its matching elemental scroll. However, wisdom cannot be rushed: the older and more powerful the animal, the more profound its knowledge, and the more lifetimes it takes to understand them. By expending years on the Year Track, you represent the time spent meditating on their teachings. Once this knowledge is unlocked, you can utilize your newfound abilities to bend the cosmic calendar, manipulate the board, and turn the tides of time to your advantage.
