What is SlapDash!

Have you ever drawn a 'Pirate Kicking a Hot Dog'? How about 'The Grim Reaper having a Tug of War with a Librarian'? You mean you've gone your whole life and never drawn a 'Strip of Bacon wearing a Four-Year-Old's Rain Boots'? Well get ready to draw these and more, as you illustrate the most BANANAS sentences you've ever put together (and that's not even counting the ones with actual bananas), with the HILARIOUS new drawing party game: SlapDash!

In SlapDash!, teams choose one Artist, who both sit together behind a standing barrier that will hide their drawings from their Guessers. They will then take 21 cards: 7 OPENERS (these are usually nouns that are capable of doing things), 7 ACTIONS (these are verbs), and CLOSERS (these are also nouns, and are usually pretty silly), and place them between them in nine piles. They then RACE to slap and claim 3 of each kind, in order to create three, 3-word silly sentences of their own that they need to draw.

They each quickly write TWO of their sentences on the backs of individual whiteboards (paper works just fine, too!), and then shuffle and hand all the cards (including the leftovers not used) to the Guessers to lay out on their side of the table and examine. The Artists then have TWO minutes to draw pictures of BOTH of their sentences! When the timer runs out, they number their drawings, then turn them around to face their guessers!

The screen is lifted, and the guessers now have ONE minute to put the various cards together in 3-word sentences on their two 'SENTENCE STRUCTURER' mats, to match what they think the artists intended! "Wait, is that snake BITING Humpty Dumpty, or EATING Humpty Dumpty? Is that Knobbly Pickle CRAWLING on a Bag of Frozen Peas, or RIDING a Bag of Frozen Peas?" When done, the Artists finally flip their pictures over to reveal their sentences. If the guesses match, points are awarded to that team for each correct guess! Also, the guesser who finished ALL their sentences FIRST is also eligible for bonus points! Is it worth 'slapping-together' your sentences as fast as you can, or should you take your time to make sure you get them right? You decide!
