What is Shaktis
Shaktis is a two-player strategic board game played on a layout of circular trails and plots, where players move and plant Seedstones using unique nature spirits called Yaksis. Each turn combines die rolls and spatial planning.
As Seedstones are planted, players collect plant and mushroom cards marked with symbols. To win, a player must be the first to plant six Seedstones in a single plot and collect six cards sharing the same symbol.
Most challenges in the game are resolved directly through riddles, symbol matching, or risk-taking with mushrooms. Some Seedstones, however, trigger open-ended Philosophy questions, where players discuss and judge each other’s answers. These moments introduce psychological tension and reward sincerity, as both players will face the same role over the course of the game.
Shaktis blends strategy, chance, and human judgment into a thoughtful competitive experience where how you play matters as much as what you play.
