About the game

What is Shah-Shah

From the box cover - "Fascinating Game of Old Persia"

This game is similar to the Parker Brothers game "Sorry" but with rolling a die to move their markers instead of drawing a card. Players start with their two wooden disk playing pieces in one of the four corners of the board and attempt to be the first to get both of them safely to the middle of the board.

On the board are spaces labeled "safety" (on which pieces are safe from being returned to their home base) and "Shah" (from which the game gets its name) which allows a piece to enter the center of the board (the objective of the game.)

Players may only enter the inner rings of the board through entry spaces of their color.
