What is Salamini
Salamini ("Oh Salamis!") is a simple but not simplistic game of trireme battles during the Classical Greece period (500-336 BC).
Rules are just two pages long, but include all the features of ancient naval warfare (shooting, ramming, boarding), are fast and fun but also tactically challenging.
A small and quick naval encounter can be fought between two squadrons of 8-12 triremes, or a bigger battle can be arranged, for a standalone game or as a part of a campaign.
A link to a free STL file of a 1/1200 trireme is provided in the rules.
