This game is a solitaire simulation in which the player commands a Japanese Army infantry Regiment (the fictional 236th Infantry Regiment) fighting through the China front.
The player takes the role of the regimental commander (Rentaichō), issuing orders to subordinate battalion commanders or directly leading regimental companies, aiming to accomplish missions.
However, unlike typical wargames, your subordinates and units won’t always obey with a simple “yes, sir.”
Ordering forced marches, attacks, or charges will increase the dissatisfaction of battalion commanders, who may sometimes ignore your commands.
