The two players play Surcouf, the Corsair, or Blackbeard, the Pirate. The two crews face each other with cannon shots symbolized by the rolls of the dice.
The object of the game is to decimate the crew of the opposing ship and then to sink it. Dice roll combinations will hit either the opposing crew or the opposing ship.
A new feature is the box serves as a dice track with bonus and penalty areas. Landing dice throws in these areas will take skill.
