What is Dragon Eyes
Dragon Eyes is a greedy, push-your-luck party game, in which players take on the role of immortal dwarves, respawning in town every time they die out on adventures.
Chasing riches and fame, the dwarves attempt to pillage more treasure from a nearby dragon’s cave than all the other dwarves, to see who is the bravest and smartest dwarf of them all! But they often get too greedy, and wake the dragon in their haste. Any dwarf that perishes in the dragon's flames wakes up in town again, but without any gold or glory.
During a round of Dragon Eyes, players take turns reaching into a bag of gems, choosing how many to take out without viewing them first. Drawn gems are pooled in the center of the table, and then the active player picks one color and moves all gems of this color from the center to their supply.
Beware though! Seven dragon eyes lurk in the bag. When drawing one or more dragon eyes, the active player must keep them, symbolizing how often they’ve been spotted, and after receiving too many, the dragon will awaken and gobble them up!
