About the game

What is Dice of Steam: Brasil Map

The most important cities are:

Brasilia - a bold vision brought to life by Brazilian president Juscelino Kubitschek, who sought to move the capital from coastal Rio de Janeiro to a more central location. At this time, the city existed only in the form of a grand, modernist blueprint designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and urban planner Lúcio Costa. Construction was underway, with workers laboring to transform the arid Brazilian Highlands into a futuristic city filled with sweeping curves, expansive boulevards, and iconic buildings.

Manaus - a bustling hub of the rubber boom, positioned at the confluence of the Negro and Solimões rivers in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. The city’s wealth during this era was reflected in its grand architecture, including the opulent Teatro Amazonas, an opera house built with materials imported from Europe. As a gateway to the vast Amazon region, Manaus was a vibrant blend of indigenous culture, European influence, and economic prosperity, though it also faced challenges from the decline of the rubber trade in the latter part of the century.
